Bill Hannabass is an experienced professional seeking the office of Council at Large. He recently retired as the City Manager of the City of Oak Hill. He became interested in City government 20 years ago when he served as a member of Council with the goal of helping the White Oak Rail Trail become a reality. This experience lead Bill to serve as Mayor and finally as City Manager.
As City Manager he administered many projects on behalf of City Council. He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the West Virginia Municipal League upon his retirement. He is a past President of the WV City Managers Association. The professional training and experience gained through serving multiple positions within the city makes him anxious to serve his community again.
