My name is Eddie Young. It has been my pleasure to serve as the Assessor of Fayette County for 20 years. I have the experience to carry out the duties of this office.
I have walked door to door in every natural disaster in this county to re-assess the damages. Just last week, I was in Lavista after the tornado hit. I have worked at least 4 major floods.
I guided us through the real estate crash in 2008. I am currently guiding us through this recent real estate boom. The prices are coming back to somewhat normal levels now.
I took an oath to uphold the laws of the State of WV. I have done that and won many statewide awards along the way.
This is an important time for our County. There have been many changes since Covid hit. I would like to thank each of you for your support in the past. I would also ask for your support in May.
I am a hard worker and I know first hand what your concerns are. I also know how to take care of these issues.
