Refund Policy

Regular Event Admissions

General Board Meetings, Annual Meeting, Educational & Networking Programs, and other similar events:The Chamber’s policy is to generally require payment in advance for admission to all Chamber-promoted & sponsored events due to commitments to our vendors and participants of these events. Cancellations received during regular office hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. M-F, except Holidays) in advance of the publicized cancellation deadline for that event, in person, by phone, or by email will be considered for a refund in full using the same method utilized for the original payment.

Bridge Day Specific Policies

Vendors: In the event that a vendor decides not to attend Bridge Day even though the event will go on as scheduled, there will be no deferral or refund. However, in the event that Bridge Day is canceled by the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and the Bridge Day Commission, all vendors are entitled to a refund minus the vendor application fee. There is also the option for the participant to apply their registration amount to 2021’s Bridge Day event. This information can also be found in the vendor application packet and confirmation email.

Into the Gorge: In the event that the ticket holder decides not to attend Bridge Day even though the event will go on as scheduled, there is no deferral or refund. In the event that Bridge Day is canceled by the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and the Bridge Day Commission, all ticket holders are entitled to a refund. There is also the option for the participant to apply their tickets to Bridge Day 2021.

BASE: In the event that the BASE participant decides not to attend Bridge Day, even though the event will go on as scheduled, there is no deferral or refund. In the event that Bridge Day is canceled by the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and the Bridge Day Commission, all BASE participants are entitled to a refund. There is also the option for the BASE participant to apply their registration amount to Bridge Day 2021.

Sponsors: In the event that Bridge Day 2020 is canceled by the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and the Bridge Day Commission, the sponsor shall be relieved of their obligation and entitled to a refund of all monies paid that were not expended on promotion-related fees specifically related to said sponsor. News & Media: In the event that a media pass holder decides not to attend Bridge Day, even though the event will go on as scheduled, there is no deferral or refund. In the event that Bridge Day is canceled by the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and the Bridge Day Commission, all Media pass holders are entitled to a refund. There is also the option for the participant to apply their pass towards 2021’s Bridge Day event.

Membership Dues

Payment for membership dues in the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce is due at the time of application or at the beginning of your renewal year. Dues are only refundable in the event the membership application is not approved by the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

Membership dues refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Refund requests should be submitted via one of the methods listed below.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship for certain events will be considered based on the event being held. Please see specific events for cancellation details in regards to sponsorship.

Retail Items

No refunds are available for items such as name badges, hats, posters, shirts, or other gifts purchased online or in the Visitors Center.
